Karneol mattress

The KARNEOL mattress is based on a unique high spring density, 9-zone pocket spring core, which has been manufactured without polyurethane.

It is made with a pocket spring core, zoned with hardened steel wire, based on our own studies, for legendary soft comfort, exceptional point elasticity and perfect support for the spinal column. Shoulder sinking, firmness under the waist and load bearing under the hips. 

The ecosoftnesst padding layer: Using a unique method we placed a liquid-resistant and vapour permeable layer between the padding layer and the static mattress core. As a result, the mattress can be cleaned using proper wet cleaning technology without promoting the growth of bacteria and fungi while still following even the most stringent regulations.

With our proprietary technology, we have completely eliminated polyurethane foam from the manufacture of this mattress, while retaining all the popular and known properties. The mattress core is not built into a foam cradle, but is enclosed by a twin edge frame system with auxiliary springs and corner protection. In this way, the lying surface is sprung from edge to edge, with the same resilient character across its entire width. 

In contrast to traditional edge-framed mattresses, where the width is usually narrowed in the middle, the edges of two mattresses are neatly parallel to each other.

This mattress will be considered comfortable by those who prefer a medium firm mattress, but at least not a soft mattresses.

We can make the mattress with winter and summer sides, if required.

A special infrared reflector silver layer is incorporated between the stitching and padding layers of the winter side. This is a very thin, "breathable" membrane layered with silver that can reflect some of the heat from your body. So it helps to create a comfortable sleeping climate temperature in a less heated bedroom, making the heating bill more bearable. 

It is advisable to turn the mattress according to the season. 

The height of the mattress is 22 cm, like most mattresses in the Billerbeck collection, so it can be "twinned" with another type in a double bed. 

Two single mattresses can be zipped together if required (WIN).

Its cover is an elegant, high quality and highly wear-resistant blended fabric with a border in the same colour as the mattress cover.The cover is not removable. Thanks to the so-called edge-seam closure, the mattress has excellent "edge definition", so there is no gap between two mattresses placed side by side.
